Description
Join S.S.R.O., Iowa City's one-of-a-kind Readers Theater group as we continue to champion all forms of art and entertainment through our performances of vintage radio scripts, humorous anecdotes, stories of life, love, and laughter, and the occasional spoof of classic shows from the small screen to movies and the Broadway stage. No acting experience or memorization is required, but an unwavering sense of humor and desire to have the most fun possible are a must!
Directed by Jon Ranard, and rehearsing weekly at 2 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons, all participants in S.S.R.O. are also members of the Iowa City Senior Center, but there is no registration fee required to join our unique, friendly, and creative group. Our first rehearsal of the spring session will take place on Wednesday, January 17th at 2 p.m. in the Assembly Room, with a final performance slated for Wednesday, May 22nd at 2 p.m. Come on, come all!Activity Secondary Category
