Interested in camping but need a little coaching to feel confident to pull off a weekend away? We’ve got you covered! Join our recreation coordinator for a crash course on camping preparedness, including how to set up tents and flies; gear suggestions; tech and software recommendations for planning your trip; how and where to make campsite reservations; strategies to preparing for weather or other unexpected challenges; and more.
This program is accessible for all ages and experience levels and will include tips for families learning to camp with kids if applicable. Children are welcome and must be accompanied by a registered adult. The campsite is a short distance from the parking lot on paved, accessible surfaces.
