Description
Per Harvard Medical School, Tai Chi is often described as "meditation in motion," but it might well be called "medication in motion." There is growing evidence that this mind-body practice has value in treating or preventing many health problems. Tai Chi is a practice that involves a series of slow gentle movements and physical postures, a meditative state of mind, and controlled breathing. It’s a low-impact, slow-motion exercise, that doesn’t put any pressure on the joints. It’s also slowly becoming therapeutic exercise for many chronic health conditions.
