TOUR & DINNER DETAILS:Lets us be your designated driver & join us for a Tour of Whiskey Acres! This will be a captivating journey through the artistry of whiskey-making! Immerse yourself in the rich aromas, learn about the meticulous process, and savor the distinct flavors that define each unique blend. Whiskey Acres is an Estate Distillery like none other in the US and they grow all of the corn, wheat, rye & barley that they use for distilling. Three of their product earned Double Gold at the ’21 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, while two earned Double Platinum at Fred Minnick’s ‘21 ASCOT Awards. Nick Nagle VP and COO of Whiskey Acres Distilling Company manages the daily operations and leads the sales and marketing at Whiskey Acres. You'll often find him hosting a tasting, leading a tour, filling bottles or pouring samples throughout Illinois. Nick is also a fifth generation farmer and active in his family’s row crop farm in Sheldon, IL.TRAVEL DETAILS:This is a co-op with Downers Grove Park District. Our Coach bus will pick up & drop-off ALL attendees at The Community House. Pickup time is at 5:00 pm and drop off time will be approx. 9:00 pm.
FEE INCLUDES: Coach bus to and from The Community House. Tour of Distillery & Tasting of 3 Whiskey Acres products and a souvenir shot glass. Catered Dough Brothers Pizza & Salad.
Kindly register at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure the trip can take place. Minimum of 6 attendees needed - 11 spots available. Registration ends July 11th as details will be finalized at that time.
Absolutely no late enrollments and no refunds on this trip unless The Community House cancels!
