Mary Ann Beebe Center Service Day – Overnight Option D, B, J, C, S, A, Mary Ann Beebe Center, Harvard IL Free April 6-7, 2024 9 a.m. Saturday – 10 a.m. Sunday Register by March 22, 2024 Enjoy a day at camp and prepare the property for the winter season! Join other camp fans to make a difference for the Girl Scout outdoor experience. You might spruce up buildings, paint navigation signs, organize camp supplies, and more! (As this is a short event, Girl Scouts cannot earn Camp Service rocker patches by attending a Camp Service Day.) NEW: Troops who can bring a minimum of 8 participants can spend a night out at camp! Work with the rangers during service day from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and enjoy the rest of your evening camping in the Activity Center. All participants must register for overnight in advance. All Girl Scouts must always be accompanied by an adult, and troops must provide proper youth-to-adult ratios. Participants must actively participate in entire service hours in the morning. Troops must provide their own food and entertainment – no outdoor facilitated activities will be available for reservations during the weekend. Due to limited capacity at Mary Ann Beebe Center, troops will be required to share living space with other troops. Sleeping accommodations are mattresses on the floor. Check out on Sunday is 10 a.m. No Friday night lodging available.
