Description
Our Gryphon Leadership Program is built on developing a community and the "I AM A GRYPHON" values (be respectful, caring, determined, engaged and authentic). Throughout the program participants are working together in creating their own community to foster and encourage leadership skill development and personal growth through workshops and discussions facilitated by our Gryphon Leadership Facilitators.
We have designed workshops and activities that are engaging to encourage participants to communicate and collaborate with each other while actively moving and laughing together. Workshops will include topics like self-motivation, working in teams, personal leadership traits, how to lead a group, time management, work opportunities (job search, resumes, interviews), how to be fiscally responsible, public speaking, how to make your voice heard and conflict resolution. Volunteer opportunities will also be introduced to the campers during the last week of summer camp.
Camp Program Details
8am-8:45am - Drop Off
8:45am-4:00pm - Camp Program
4:00pm-4:30pm - Pick Up
Note: Post Camp Extended Day will be offered between 4:30pm-5:30pm for an additional fee. Registrations for extended day programming will take place in June.
• Completion of Camper Extended Health Forms will be required at least three weeks prior to the start of this specific camp week.• If you wish to request to be paired with another camper, this will be asked of you in the Camper Extended Health Form.• ALL Camp withdrawals will incur a $30 withdrawal fee and must be requested no later than 10 days prior to the start date of that particular week of camp.• Individuals have the option to withdraw themselves online if done so by June 1st, 2024 (withdrawal fee will still apply).• If you are withdrawing after June 1st, 2024 you will be required to contact the Camps Office to process and the withdrawal fee will apply• No withdrawals available if not requested 10 days prior to the camp start day.• For this camp program, there will be an opportunity for recreational swimming (once per week)
