Description
Modeled after the Major Leagues, this instructional program teaches youth the fundamentals of the game. Participants will be placed on separate MLB franchises and receive an authentic MLB replica jersey. Players will participate in a variety of drills, including basics of fielding, hitting from a tee, throwing, base-running and sportsmanship. Basic rules will be taught as well.
Parent coaches are required to offer this program. Schedules will be sent out prior to start of the season. Please bring your own glove. Bats and helmets will be provided but it is recommended to bring your own. Up to 4 teams will be formed and practices/games will be scheduled at 5:15.
No program July 1st and 3rd.
