Description
Have you wanted to try Ringette but maybe aren't the most comfortable on ice? Here's your opportunity! Floor Ringette is a gym sport based off of the ice-sport of the same name. Floor Ringette is played on the floor with two nets, indoor sticks and a plastic ring that slides smoothly across the floor. Teams are set up much like hockey, with 5 players on the floor and one goalie. However, players must pass over specific lines (often in floor ringette it’s just one center line) in order to continue the play, making this a uniquely cooperative and team sport. Helmets with cages and gloves are recommended.
