Come out and join us for our annual Camp Lakewood Spring event, a Dad/Child fundraising weekend campout. Spring 2024 campout will be at Camp Grady Spruce on beautiful Possum Kingdom Lake on on Friday, Feb 23 to Sunday, Feb 25, 2024. . Canoes, archery, horseback riding, hiking or grab a boat ride over to Hells Gate and hike to the top! Should be an awesome weekend of fun! All registered kids will receive a FREE Camp Lakewood T-Shirt. (specify t-shirt size at registration). Dads shirts available for purchase at registration. The campout is open to all Lakewood boys and girls in grades K-5 and child will need to be accompanied by a Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, etc.. We will assign cabins by gender and grade. All proceeds from this camp out go directly back into Lakewood Elementary. This has become an annual Spring tradition and one of the main fundraiser events for FOL. We rely on your support for events like these to provide the educational programming, physical activities, and capital improvements that make the educational experience at Lakewood second to none.
