Description
UPDATE: The August class is intended as a "next step" up from the very introductory level of the July class and is best suited to participants who've already had a basic introduction to American Mah Jongg.
Learn more about this ancient game of strategy and luck in a small group setting. There are many variations of the game, which originated in China, but in this class, we focus exclusively on the American version, following National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules.
PLEASE NOTE: Each class member will need to purchase a Mah Jongg card from the National Mah Jongg Association, at an approximate cost of $15, good for the year, wherever this game is played. The instructor will advise on how to purchase prior to beginning of class.
