Time: 4:05 PM–5:45 PM Duration: Year Grades: 9–12 Available Spaces: 45 Cost: $550 Description: The Robotics Club is a club that seeks to expand students’ knowledge, understanding, and applications of STEM in a real-world setting. In the classroom, you get to read about experiments and technology in textbooks, but in the robotics club, you’ll be able to help design a robot from scratch in real life, which will be put to the test in an exciting competition. We aim to participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition, an international high school robotics competition that brings STEM to students around the world. Whether you’re a child prodigy who’s won multiple FIRST champions, or someone who doesn’t know the first thing about robotics, you’re welcome here. All you need to get started is some free time after school, and a willingness to learn. This club will formally meet on Tuesdays and informally meet on Wednesdays and Thursday; Advisors will provide more information during the first meeting.
