Adult Organizer: EnActe Email: noahluce@enacte.org Dates: Every Friday with the first meeting on 9/8/23 and the last meeting on 4/26/24. No meetings on: 11/10, 11/17, 11/24, 12/15, 12/22, 12/29, 2/16, 2/23, 3/29, and 4/5. Time: 4;30 PM–5:30 PM Duration: Year Grades: 6–8 Available Spaces: 12 Cost: $850 Description: In this unique class, students will develop a character through physicality and vocality, learning empathy, immersion, and articulation. Then, they will be recorded in sync with a pre-animated piece and their voices dubbed using ADR. This class not only teaches the process of animation and sound recording but also aids in performance. Additionally, this camp provides an immersive, collaborative, and educational experience by jumping into scene work for the stage. Students will have custom scenes written for them by a professional writer, each working on their specific challenges framed around their personal needs. They will learn projection through vocality, critical thinking through script analysis, creativity through character dimensionalization, and command through stage presence. This camp offers a comprehensive approach to performance, allowing students to develop characters through physicality and vocality and apply those skills in live performance.
