Participation in Art for All Abilities classes is free to participants, but pre-registration is required as spaces are limited.Thursday, May 9 - Nature Scene Shadow Box
Learn how fun it is to make your own nature scene in a shadow box frame! Be inspired by nature’s beauty as you discover how to simplify your subject and turn it into separate layers. Paint the layers with watercolor, then cut them out, add details, and arrange them in a shadow box frame.
Students should expect to use watercolor paint, paintbrushes, scissors, and adhesive stickers. Colored pencils and markers will also be available for optional use. Students who require additional assistance may bring an adult with them.
PALS Program (People at Leisure with Support): A caregiver is required to stay with those needing support.
The Art for All Abilities Program is made possible by contributions from the Tennessee Arts Commission.
For questions, please contact Liz.Friend@williamsoncounty-tn.gov. If you register but can no longer attend, please notify Liz so we can open the space to another participant.
