Beginner-Intermediate $165-$215 Materials and Studio Fees* Explore the fundamentals of cyanotype printmaking and its use as a tool with encaustic painting. By the end of the workshop, you will understand how to produce cyanotypes using photographic negatives, silhouettes, and other mark making techniques; learn how to set up a simple lab in your own studio; and learn various techniques for incorporating cyanotype into the encaustic process. Best practices for mounting and finishing the encaustic painting will also be covered. *Materials and studio fees are charged to students based on studio usage and materials Touchstone is providing at the request of the instructor. Additionally, some instructors may also require that you bring certain materials and tools with you, in which case a list will be provided. Final cost of these fees will be posted at least two weeks ahead of the workshop to be paid in full prior to check-in.
