Engage, Elevate, Empower:Teacher Well-Being & Artistic Social Emotional Learning (SEL) for the Performing Arts Educator
July 1 - 3, 20249:00am - 4:00pm$350
Prerequisite: This Professional Development workshop is recommended for current or former K-12 performing arts teachers or currently enrolled undergraduate/graduate/certificate students in a performing arts education program (pre-service). It is also open to studio performing arts teachers who work with students in K-12 on a regular basis.
All participants will receive a Certificate of Completion with course hours to be applied towards professional development hours (with administrator approval).
This three-day professional development workshop will provide performing arts educators with: research-based well-being practices to consistently restore teacher & student health and well-being inside and outside of the classroom; teaching methods & strategies to improve student focus, engagement, and artistry; and the rudiments of Artistic Social Emotional Learning and their application to empower teacher and student Identity, Belonging and Agency.
