How to Get Away with a Murder Mystery Entering Grades 7 - 10 July 22 - 26 Mon – Thurs 9:00 – 4:00 Fri 9:00 – 5:00 (performance at 5:00 p.m.) $275/student Five mysterious color-coded guests. A mansion. A murder. Can the killer get away with it? And how will the sleuths bring them to justice? A handy guide for how to escape the law when you just happen to be a prime suspect of a mysterious murder. This show hilariously skewers the tropes of the murder mystery: an airtight alibi, a long-winded monologue by a detective with an accent, an impossibly complicated Rube Goldberg murder device? Check, check, and check! In one week, students will audition, rehearse, and perform HOW TO GET AWAY WITH A MURDER MYSTERY by Don Zolidis. Students will learn about auditioning, character creation, blocking, stage directions, acting techniques, set and costume design and team work. Students will perform for family and friends on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
