Day camp is a program for boys and girls in school years Kindergarten to Year 6. It is an exciting time of discovery and adventure in the wonderland of nature. Experience the fun of hikes, campfires, cooking food on an open fire, things to paint or make just by using what nature provided.
The camp is for 4 days, commencing at 9am and finishing at 3:30pm. Campers need to bring their own lunch each day. Day Camp lets campers have all the fun and experiences of a normal camp, but the security of sleeping at home each night. Campers are all in groups of 6-8 children. Each group has its own adult leader and helper, and they stay together for the whole camp. The leadership team work together to ensure the maximum safety and enjoyment of all the campers. All leaders have had the appropriate child protection training and completed the Child Protection Declaration. Parents are welcome to attend the morning and afternoon assemblies which are highlights of the Day Camp program.
Family discounts available this year on 3 or more children in a family. Please contact the Church Office on 4575 3800 or email@example.com for details on how you can access this.

DAY CAMP FAMILY CONCERT
Just a reminder of our exciting program for Friday night. We hope you can come to see the children, in their groups, presenting plays, songs, arts and crafts and other fun things they have been doing during the week at camp. The “concert” will be held at St John’s Church hall at Wilberforce. The concert starts at 6.00pm with a BBQ dinner.
DAY CAMP SUNDAY
We also celebrate the Day Camp Experience during the Sunday morning Church Service. This commences at 9am and will be followed by a Jumping Castle, morning tea and other activities.
Campers are asked not to bring money to camp, as there will be no opportunity to spend it.
Please note that Day Camp starts at 9am each day and concludes at 3:30pm. Due to the nature of the activities of Day Camp it is necessary that children are constantly supervised. To do this we need parent’s cooperation and we ask that parents be punctual when picking up and dropping off children
WHERE IS IT?
Day Camp 2021 is being held at a property in East Kurrajong. It is ideal for Day Camping, as it combines natural bushland with open space for group activities. Further address details will be forwarded to parents once your child’s application has been processed.
