Come along with Jack and Annie as we go on two super cool adventures this summer! Adventures will include reading Afternoon on the Amazon and Dolphins at Daybreak. We will do hands-on arts and crafts using several different art mediums for both the Amazon and the Ocean theme. We will learn all about the Amazon and the Ocean through videos, science experiments, and reading nonfiction books about both themes. We will do many Language Arts activities to engage with Jack and Annie and their exciting adventure to the Amazon Rainforest and into the Ocean! Students will also participate in a Reader's Theater for each book. They will “perform" by reading a script from an exciting part from each book that will include making props to accompany our mini performance. We will culminate our adventure by using our engineering STEM skills to build a miniature treehouse. For those that attended session 1, I will have extra materials to add to or they can make a new one.
