In this innovative program, Think Like a Historian, students will dive into the captivating world of history and develop critical thinking skills. They will learn to analyze historical events, uncover primary sources, and develop a deeper understanding of the past through the lens of a historian. One of the highlights of our program is the opportunity for students to engage in insightful discussions about their favorite leaders, eras, and circumstances from history. Students have the chance to reflect on the special qualities of iconic figures, explore the enduring impact of change over time, and acknowledge the results and consequences of behavior. Whether it is the unwavering determination of Winston Churchill, the memorable March to Freedom from the Civil Rights Movement, or the results of free speech from the Constitution, students will uncover the qualities that inspire and shape their understanding of leadership, determination, and strife.
