COURSE DESCRIPTION
Calling all Juniors and Seniors looking to write their college admissions essays this summer. This is the class for you! In this Essay Writing class, specifically for juniors and seniors, students review and apply the fundamentals of writing mechanics, pre-writing, essay structure, editing, and proofing required to produce strong college admissions essays. Students will write at least one general college application essay and a response to a prompt for a scholarship essay. Computers in the Shelton mobile lab will be used during class. A 256 MB portable USB flash memory device (pen drive, flash drive, or thumb drive) is required to save each student’s work. Basic keyboarding skills are also required.When
