Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Thursday, March 28, 2024.
**Pre-Requisite: Tai Chi 24 FormsLearn the ancient art of Tai Chi from a Board Certified Tai Chi for Health Instructor who will incorporate tai chi principles into the practice using authentic tai chi forms.
In this class, you will learn six new movements. These movements are a natural progression from Tai Chi (Foundational Part 1: Basic).
These movements are slow and gentle, and low-impact exercise that also include breath work (Qigong) into the practice. Movements can be easily adjusted, making it suitable for most people with differing levels of fitness, ability, and mobility.
This Sun-style tai chi is easy to learn to help you to:
• Improve immunity• Decrease stress• Decrease anxiety and depression symptoms• Improve flexibility of the mind• Improve balance• Prevent and/or decrease falls
As we grow older, it’s imperative that we continue to care for ourselves. If we don’t use it (muscles, brain, body, spirit) – we will lose it.
Join us. We’ll take this journey together. All are welcome.
