This class is for quilters looking for new projects to make and inspiration from others. Do you have a sewing machine collecting dust? Want to be able to make something but not sure how? Then let our instructor show you how to explore the basics and create fresh, new projects you can take home and enjoy!For this Summer Session, our project is the Virginia Reel. This traditional pattern involves foundation paper piecing, and finishes it off with a border print. The quilt is ideal for a confident beginner.
The instructor will provide complete instructions, detailed pattern and how to construct. Finishes at 17" x 23" (Larger sizes can be calculated) and a finished block is 3".

Materials for Project:
44" Wide FabricDark 1/2 YardLight 1/2 YardBorder 1/3 YardBacking 3/4 Yard
Note: The yardage given above is for a quilt made in two colors only, one light and one dark. If you prefer a scrappy quilt, use an assortment of light and dark scraps. Fabric scraps should be at least 3 1/2" x 9" in order to cut the required number of logs for one-half of a block (either light or dark).
