Description

This class is for all the aspiring artists who love drawing and painting.
You will learn and improve on basic drawing skills and explore various techniques and media that will make your art beautiful!
Students use a variety of media: Water-based Paints (Acrylic, Watercolor, and Tempera), Vine Charcoal, Oil and Chalk Pastels, Graphite, Color Pencil, Water-color Pencil, and Ink.
Students are introduced to artistic concepts such as shading, proportion, composition and basic color mixing. Advanced students pursue their individual artistic interests and learn more advanced techniques.
Some supplies provided, student must provide some supplies. Supply list available on this page for download (desktop device - on the top right; mobile device - scroll down) or email: Parks@culpepercounty.gov to request a copy.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
-Class is held indoors in the Activity Room at Lenn Park pavilion
-The instructor, Artists in Bloom, has requested that all participants wear a face mask during class.
-The instructor will wear a mask as well during class
