Learn the fundamentals of nature sketching and journaling, in both observational and artistic formats. Each session is focused on learning to observe, sketch and use color to reflect the flora and fauna of our area in winter. We will work from both life and photos in Week 1 and a field trip for Week 2, weather permitting. No drawing experience required. Only requirement: A wonder for the world around us.
Instructor will provide some materials and recommendations for others. For first class bring a small sketchbook (no larger than 9X12) OR blank copy paper and pencil. Instructor will advise on other suggested materials during first class but no further purchases required. Also, weather permitting, a field trip to the Covington Community park or Soos Creek Trai may take place.
