Description
This block consists of the following classes. Supplies are included unless otherwise noted in the class descriptions.
9:00-9:50am: Summer Kaleidoscope
Take a close look at the shapes, colours and designs of summer and have fun creating exciting 2D and 3D art projects including painted paper pinwheels, washi tape flip-flops, coloured bubble prints, paper maché ice cream cones, a seashell collage and more!
Teacher: Clarissa Banos
10:00-10:50am: Paper Weaving
Learn the basics of colour theory and explore innovative ways to paint and create texture. Use these painted creations and other weaving materials to make a paper weaving project.
Teacher: Mariana Frochtengarten
11:10am-12:00pm: Mythological Masterpieces
Make visual masterpieces based on the stories of myths and legends! Fairy-tale creatures and tales of mythology will guide our artmaking adventure where we discover how to use a range of 2D and 3D materials to “brew and cast” imaginative and whimsical creations.
