Description
This block consists of the following classes. Supplies are included unless otherwise noted in the class descriptions.
12:45-1:35pm: Art Tales
Guided by enchanting stories and themes, create whimsical mixed media projects. Explore textures, colours and shapes, transforming tales into visually captivating artworks with 3D elements. Explore imaginative storytelling through art!
Teacher: Crystal Koskinen
1:45-2:35pm: Abstract Art
Do you love colour, pattern and texture? Learn how to create fun, fast and rewarding abstract art. Discover various mark-making techniques, design several abstract patterns and create collages with upcycled materials. By the end of the week, you will have a series of abstract artworks!
Teacher: Cyd Eva
2:55-3:45pm: Jazz Dance
Learn basic jazz dance steps and techniques while moving along to popular songs. Develop coordination and musicality through engaging movement games and exercises. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in and non-marking, indoor running shoes or bare feet. On Friday, at the end of class, families will be invited to see what we’ve been working on.
