Jazz is an upbeat form of dance set to popular music. Classes will focus on technique, strength, balance, flexibility and rhythm. This class will perform in the year-end recital in June and may also perform in up to three competitive events (at the discretion of Place des Arts). Students in this class may choose to participate in ADAPT (Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers) Jazz Dance Exams in the spring.
