Description
Join a Free Walk with a Doc neighborhood walking club and take a STEP toward better health! Learn about health topics from local healthcare providers, take a walk at your own pace & distance, meet new people, and earn prizes.
***New this year: each group will be gathering to walk together EVERY SATURDAY listed on the Walk with a Doc flyer. A healthcare provider will join the group to lead a Walk with a Doc (WWAD) event once per month at each location.
Participants will receive a tracking sheet at a Walk with a Doc (WWAD) event to track their number of steps and attendance.
- Earn 2 points for attending a Walk with a Doc (WWAD) event.
- Earn 1 point for attending a weekly walking club event.
- Receive a free t-shirt once you've earned 10 points by showing your tracking sheet to a volunteer at your next event
- Submit your tracking sheet at the end-of-year celebration for the opportunity to earn additional prizes.
