About this event
Where else do teenagers get to "take over" the statehouse and supreme court for 3 days? Student Legislature and Student Supreme Court is where teens learn the process of the state government and influence public policy. "This is great! We get to be legislators or justices sitting in the same seats and using the same facilities they use. I've learned more about civics and state government this way than from any book or classroom. Some of the laws we propose have actually become state law!" At YG, there is something for everyone. Not only are there student legislators and justices, but the youth also represent the executive branch, lobbyist, press, and pages.
