CARRIAGE PLACE GYMNASTICS- BRONZE TEAMRegistration is IN PERSON ONLY and after the gymnast has been chosen for this team!
The Bronze Team will practice Tuesday & Thursday 5-6pm.
It is expected that any chosen gymnasts is making the commitment for the entire season! The season will begin in the summer of 2024 and conclude at the end of May 2025!
Clinics: Clinics are open for ages 6 - 18 (as long as in school). The clinics are of no charge and will review/cover base-line skills that will be assessed during the tryout. There will be 2 clinics held. Gymnasts may attend all or none. The clinic is not required, but it is strongly recommended, so the gymnast will be well prepared. All gymnasts must be signed in - and will need to make sure email addresses; names; and phone numbers are legible. Email will be the primary means of communication. All returning team members must also try-out. No gymnasts are automatically added to the next season's team.
The dates of the clinic are as follows:• Thursday, May 16 - 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM• Tuesday, May 21 - 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM• Wednesday, May 22 - 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM- TENTATIVE, WILL KNOW FOR SURE BY MAY 16
Tryouts: The try-outs will be held on Thursday, May 23 from 5:00 PM -7:45 PM. The girls will not need to be present for the entire time. There will be a warm-up and review with the tryouts beginning at 5:30 PM. The girls will be broken into random groups and will be assessed on required skills. Once the assessment has been completed - the girls are free to leave. If they are going to remain, they will be reminded that this is not an 'open gym'. We are limited with the number of girls that we can take. During the tryout we will be looking at not only skills, but listening and direction following, teamwork, work ethic, to name a few. We will make an assessment on where the gymnast is best suited for success. We will not communicate on the night of the tryouts. They will be notified no later than Thursday, June 1st via email.
Summer Session: We will start team with the Summer Session. The team members selected are expected to practice during the summer. The summer session will start on Tuesday, June 11. We will run through our last practice on Thursday, July 25.
All team level decisions are final, made by the team coaching staff. We look to ensure the greatest success for your gymnasts and have many years of experience.
