Description
Join Park Ranger, Michael Hughes, for a clinic to improve your nature photography skills. Our clinic will cover techniques for proper composition, exposure, lighting and more. This is a two-part clinic. We begin with a Friday evening classroom session covering the techniques. The next session, Saturday morning, begins at dawn as we catch the early morning light illuminating the flora and fauna of Peacock Hill. We will practice the techniques learned the night before and learn more about photographic equipment. After a morning of photographing we return to the visitor center for coffee and snacks and to review some of our best images of the morning.
Participants should bring their cameras and lenses, and their camera manuals. Any camera will do! Be prepared for walking/hiking over hilly terrain. More will be discussed in the evening session. For questions about the clinic, contact Michael at Michael.Hughes@williamsoncounty-tn.gov .
