This is the first part of a two-semester course designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in dental assisting. Students will learn to perform the work of an assistant in a modern practice, while functioning within the guidelines and regulations in the Dental Practice Act of Virginia. High school diploma or equivalency required. Students must furnish safety glasses.National certification testing fees are the students' responsibility. Use door 3 to enter the building.
