Description
In this month's BioDiversity Hike we will explore the beautiful and rugged Linville River and Falls area. Known by the Cherokee as "the river of many cliffs", we will walk along the trails under towering Hemlocks, thick Rhododendron stands and beautiful wildflowers. Here we will find astonishing biodiversity and connect with the land and each other. Participants must be able to walk 5 - 7 miles on uneven terrain. Adult participation required if under 18.Pre-registration required. Participants must be able to travel 5 - 7 miles on uneven terrain. Bring a bag lunch and plenty of water.
