Fly fishing is much more than casting. You’re probably wondering, “What gear do I need to get started?” This class will cover the essential fly fishing gear and techniques for beginners. It may seem overwhelming at first, but experienced instructors will help you start your fly fishing journey and suggest how to choose the right equipment. You do not need the most advanced equipment to be successful with fly fishing. Once you have the basics in place, this session will focus on getting better with the equipment you have. Equipment and supplies are provided, but you may bring your own fly-rod and reel if desired.
