Description
This 6-session clinic is designed for Pickleball beginners who may be familiar with the basics but wish to improve their skills, techniques, and gameplay strategy. Curriculum will cover court posting, footwork, controlled groundstrokes, dinking, defense, volleying and more. Guideline and rules for pickleball including scoring will also be covered.
Mae Hiatt is a PPR Certified Pickleball Coach (#130695). With over 20 years of experience in teach, she's taking her expertise to the pickleball courts and sharing her love of the game with Carson City and beyond. Mae has volunteered extensively as a Pickleball Clinic instructor at other City and Community facilities. She is a member of the USA Pickleball Association and the Professional Pickleball Registry.
Suggested Materials: Participants should wear proper athletic attire and sturdy court shoes. Protective eyewear is encouraged but not required. Please bring a water bottle. Equipment will be provided during the course, but you are welcome to bring your own paddle.
