Description
Ever wonder what is would be like to live in Carson City thousands of years ago? Carson City is located in the Great Basin and throughout time this area has experienced much change, from the water to the animals this land would look completely unrecognizable to us 15,000 years ago. Join a Park Ranger at the Odyssey Trail for a hike all about the history of the Great Basin and learn how this area has changed throughout time.
The hike is considered "more difficult" under the IMBA Trail Rating System. Expect moderate terrain with sandy sections and rocky obstacles for about 2 miles. Be sure to bring closed toed shoes, plenty of water and excitement for the Great Basin.

Need to Know: - Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult- Dogs are allowed on a 6 foot leash- There are no restrooms at the trailhead- Online registration is required
