1 Day Workshop Recreate an original piece of work based on a famous piece of art, a Master Copy! Students should come prepared with a piece of artwork that they respond positively to. Students will also have the opportunity to choose from a selection of original masterpieces provided by the teacher. Students will go around and introduce each other and describe why they chose the piece that they did. Students will be directed to select and utilize five colors from the artwork they brought in and will be prompted to incorporate new objects and themes into their new original paintings. We will think about color, composition, and value. Students will gain an introduction to color theory, and learn basic acrylic painting skills. Registration closes 48 hours before the session.
