Are you curious if you are targeting your core effectively? Try out a class that doesn’t include crunches as the main content of your workout! This program uses a range of equipment and exercises based on how our body moves, kinetic patterns, injury prevention and improved performance. Most of these movements will be “anti-core” based (anti-extension, anti-rotation, etc.) as one of the main functions of our core is to protect the spine and reduce movement. “Anti-core” is the idea of activating muscles opposite of what the exercise is called and reducing movement in the hips and spine. In this class, you will learn how to train the core and entire pelvic floor with intention. No prior lifting experience necessary. This class will provide modifications and progressions and is suitable for all fitness levels.
