Description
Join this class to learn how to incorporate safe and effective exercise to help improve bone health and gain total body strength. Bone & muscle mass peaks sometime between our 20s-30's and by our 40's, it begins to decrease. The class incorporates evidence-based exercises to help maintain and build both bone and muscular strength. Programming includes bone-targeted high-intensity, progressive-resistance exercises & impact weight-bearing training (HiRIT) and balance training to help prevent and manage low bone mass. Core and postural correctional exercises will also be incorporated into each hour-long class. This class is suitable for all adults and fitness levels.
Participants must be healthy and cleared for strengthening, no current and ongoing injuries, recent surgeries nor fractures.
