Jewelry & Metalsmithing: Fabricated Findings Level 2 & 3
Instructors: Mary Kernahan
A beautifully executed jewelry piece deserves a beautifully executed finding. This class is designed to explore the fabrication of custom findings and mechanisms (non-clasp) including but not limited to bails, earring findings, cufflinks, fibula and brooch findings, cones, and end caps, buckles and clips.
Prerequisite: The completion of a beginning jewelry/metals class including torch soldering.
Tuesdays, April 2 - June 11
9:00 am - 12:00 pm, 11 sessions
$347 Members, $387 Guests, $60 Materials Fee
Metals/Jewelry Department Students
All Jewelry/Metals students pay a fee to cover supplies, and the use of tools/studio equipment during the class periods.
Wearing a mask in the BBAC studios and facility is strongly encouraged.
Materials list of items to bring:-Please bring a small notebook and pencil to class -Wear close-toed shoes and long pants-Bring your own safety goggles, or you can share the studio goggles
