Metalsmithing: Directed Studies
Instructor: Sarah Brazeau
This class is designed to give students space to
explore their metalwork and skills. Lectures and
demonstrations will be provided to meet individual
needs. Techniques such as lost wax casting, resin,
metal forming, fabrication and some stone setting
may be covered. Whether you need to finish a project
or start new, this course will help you further
your development of technical skills and brush up
on techniques.
Prerequisite: The completion of a beginning
jewelry/metals class including torch soldering.

Metals/Jewelry Department Students
All Jewelry/Metals students pay a fee to cover supplies, and the use of tools/studio equipment during the class periods.
Wearing a mask in the BBAC studio is strongly encouraged.
Materials list of items to bring:-Please bring a small notebook and pencil to class-Wear close-toed shoes and long pants-Bring your own safety goggles, or you can share the studio goggles
