Drawing & Painting: Botanical Art: A Field Guide to Your Backyard
Instructor: Barabara Holmer
Botanical art is an art form that combines scientific accuracy with an artistic sensitivity and aesthetic. Create accurate drawings of plants from your backyard, patio, deck, or local park in a field guide format using graphite, colored pencils, and / or watercolor. One class will focus on creating a landscape map to accompany your drawings. Bring appropriate supplies for your chosen medium and several plant samples from your yard to the first class.*
