STREAM Girls – Camp Dean C Camp Dean, Big Rock Free Sat, June 22, 2024 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Register by June 7, 2024 Join us at Camp Dean to learn more about the local aquatic wildlife! Oak Brook Trout Unlimited will host the STREAM Girls program, a STEM-education to explore local streams and wildlife. Every person is a citizen of their watershed, and Cadette Girl Scouts can learn what it means to them. By visiting Camp Dean, Cadettes will have the opportunity to observe Camp Dean Pond and Welsh Creek as scientists, anglers, and artists. Girl Scouts will receive the complete picture of what their local waterways could mean to them. During this session, Cadette Girl Scouts will observe their local water sources, sample micro-invertebrates, and try fly casting. Girl Scouts should bring a sack lunch. Troops must provide proper safety ratios. Individual Girl Scouts must attend with an adult. Adults must register to provide accurate headcount.
