Camp Dean – Family Camp – Island Adventure – CDFWk6C D, B, J, C, S, A, F Camp Dean, Big Rock IL $125/participant July 26-28, 2024 Check-in Friday, July 26, 7pm Check-out Sunday, July 28, 10am Register by June 8, 2024 Families: Each family will receive a private cabin or tent per household and share communal space, such as latrines, within the unit. All ages and family members are welcome to attend. Each family must include one relative/ guardian age 18+ as well as one Girl Scout under the age of 18. Families will utilize the Oak Grove unit at Camp Dean and Turkey Ridge unit at Camp McCormick. Camp Dean’s cabins sleep up to eight people. Camp McCormick’s Adirondacks sleep six people. Families are welcome to pitch their own tents. GSNI is backed by dedicated adults, mentors, and child advocates who put safety first. Volunteers who facilitate and chaperone our programs are fully background-checked. We also welcome family members and trusted adults to our programs. Each participant must follow all GSNI safety guidelines. We support and appreciate everyone who makes our programs safe, fun, and inclusive for every Girl Scout! Camper Care Package Surprise your Girl Scout when arriving at summer camp with a special Summer 2024 Camper Care Kit! These kits make great gifts for your camper. Kits are filled with both practical and fun items to enhance the camp experience, all in a custom, colorable box! They will be distributed upon arrival at camp to give them even more to do during their camp stay, because “Think Outside—No Box Required!” Summer 2024 Camper Care Kits sell for $40 each and can be purchased via GSNI’s registration site. The deadline for ordering Summer 2024 Camper Care Kits is Friday, May 24, 2024! Camper Care Kits are nonrefundable, fees cannot be placed on camper payment plan, and care package fees are not eligible to be covered by Campership. Camper Care Kits must be ordered at the time of registration.
