Enhance your knowledge and skills in chess! Have you ever wondered how chess masters approach and excel in the game? Our experienced instructor will teach the techniques and insights you need to confidently participate in chess tournaments. Throughout this camp, you will learn opening theories, middlegame strategies, and tactics, explore endgame studies, and analyze exemplary master games. Seize the opportunity to construct and refine your opening repertoire and training routines. Each day, you'll engage in friendly matches with your peers, allowing the instructor to provide valuable feedback on your gameplay for thorough review and improvement. Take advantage of this unique chance to reassess your chess and cultivate your logical thinking skills. The course will be taught by Sangmin Park, Rivermont's math and computer science teacher and one-time coach of the Johns Hopkins chess team.
