Drypoint etching offers every level of printmaker the ability to explore accessible printmaking methods and materials. We will also be incorporating the process of chine-collé which adds a layering and collaging component to our prints. Students will learn how to etch into plexiglass, register and prepare paper, print with an etching press and add collage methods into the process. There are limitless possibilities with this method! No printmaking experience required.
