Description
Celebrate birds on World Migratory Bird Day. While every day can be bird day, this day is celebrated to highlight migratory birds. Many birds migrate to and through our area. Some will stay and nest, while others just pass through deaded for nesting grounds farther north. This makes it one of the best time of the year to look for birds. Join us on this guided hike through the fields, woods and creeks of Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve to see how many birds we can find. All skill levels are welcome. This is a great way for beginners to find out about birds in our area and where they might be found.
Dress to be outside, and bring your favorite field guide and binoculars. The hike will be 1.5 miles to 2 miles long on paved and natural terrain surfaces.
