Description
Rare and mysterious. Exceptionally unique. Wonders of the world. Are these distant lands or fairytales? No, these describe several preserves right here in Will County! On these naturalist-led hikes, discover the plants, animals and land formations that make up some of our most protected sites. Meet the Wonders of Will County in Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve. The diversity of prairie wildflowers in one of the few remaining savanna woodlands is just a taste of what sets this preserve apart.
This hike will be no longer than 1.5 miles and take place on natural and crushed limestone surfaces.
