About this event

Description

We're sorry, but this program is over. The last meeting was Friday, June 7, 2024.

A once in a lifetime experience happens this summer - two broods of cicadas emerging simultaneously! Lat's make some noise! This maximum volume experience only lasts for a few weeks. Celebrate the phenomenon with activities and a hike geared around cicadas - what makes them special, where they've been and when we'll get to see them again. Prepare for indoor and outdoor activities. We encourage experiencing outdoors rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. Plum Creek Nature Center is an accessible facility. Outdoor activities may take place on natural surfaces over uneven terrain.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
