Our first stop will be at Yerkes Observatory in Williams Bay where you will experience this reimagined and reawakened international landmark. The 1.5 hour tour involves astronomy, architecture, Geneva Lake District history, restoration and the stories of the humans from around the world who made their mark on science in Yerkes’ spaces. It houses the largest optical refracting telescope in the world that is currently in operation. Albert Einstein visited here, now it’s your turn! Next we will travel to Lake Geneva where we’ll have about 1.5 hours to shop here before we board the Grand Belle around 6:30pm. This fantastic evening jazz dinner cruise will also include the captain providing some highlights of a few estates, while you are enjoying the beautiful scenery. Entree choices are either steak or salmon.
